Cool linen titillates the senses
Most people will remember the traditional household textile: it had four red edges and the purpose of the cloth was written on two sides. According to Sanny de Zoete it was about time to restore these towels to their former glory, but with a contemporary look.
That's why textile designer Karijn Otjes was commissioned by Sanny de Zoete to create household textiles from her own perspective. She came up with a really innovative design. A colourful, modern mini trousseau was created! Just like in the past, the purpose of each towel is written on the cloth but illustrated in a completely new way: with waving hands, dancing numbers, dark clouds looming and dozens of spermatozoids.
